    We contacted Dive Friends Bonaire while planning our trip, and they couldn’t have been more helpful. We chose the unlimited shore diving package along with six boat dives, and it was the perfect setup for us. Swapping tanks on shore dive days was quick and easy, and the boat crews were fantastic. Al, Cato, Stacy, and Liam were outstanding dive masters and made every dive smooth, safe, and fun. There’s no question who we’ll be diving with on our next trip to Bonaire. Great job, everyone!

    Excellent experience all around. We did the 6 day unlimited NITROX option and it was seamless. We reserved ahead of time, quick paperwork and paid the marine park fee, then a buoyancy check and began diving. The Cliff is a great site for a first dive there. We used 3 other DFB locations during our stay and had the same experience at all of them. Fast and reliable. Special thanks to Karl (?) at the HO location. We will definitely be back.

    Very competent staff and a good dive experience. Dive Friends provided everything we needed. We arrived on a cruise line and they were super close to the cruise terminal. They also have a board to list yourself if you need a dive buddy.

    Dive Friends Bonaire was amazing. Before our trip we emailed several asking for information. They quickly responded each time answering our questions and making recommendations. This was our first trip to Bonaire. When we arrived we went to the Hamlet Oasis location. Once there Jack got us signed in, told us about the different choices for renting tanks, and gave us our orientation dive. Three in our group chose 6 days of unlimited tanks and two of us chose to rent tanks daily. Throughout our week's vacation Jack gave us good recommendations for dive sites and places to go on Bonaire. Having the various locations to exchange tanks was a huge benefit. The retail shop had lots of equipment and some excellent deals. When we return to Bonaire for our next scuba diving vacation we will definitely use Dive Friends Bonaire again. I recommend them without hesitation. Thanks Dive Friends Bonaire and especially Jack!

    Super friendly and knowledgeable people here. Dave was our guide and was very helpful showing us the reef and pointing out many interesting fish etc. I definitely am planning to go back. I think Rachael? was the person that initially helped us. Very nice- let us hang out as our cruise ship got in later so we missed the am dive.

    I took the 2-day Avelo RAD course with Koa. He was a knowledgeable instructor, taking us through the theory and practical aspects of using the Avelo system The 2 open water dives took us through a series of drills and unstructured diving. This was very helpful to gain comfort and competence in using Avelo to achieve neutral buoyancy and expore the amazing range of neutral buoyancy when you have a very small "air bubble". The drills also took us through failure scenarios to demonstrate they are not emergencies: you can end a dive and safely ascend. I dove at several sites with Koa on the second day. He was a gracious Divemaster, and shared tips and corrections that are helpful. Thanks for the great dives Koa! Fins up! Mike Wyz

    Two great dives today. Took the big boat out of Port, top notch boat. Staff was energetic and attentive. Great time had by all, safety was #1 topic followed by having fun. The Grinch made a special appearance, who has a picture? Definitely recommend, great crew! Found some pics, thanks Jeff!

    Took my grandson, daughter, and son-in-law on a Discover SCUBA - what a great experience. Next day, I took my younger grandson (8 years old) on a Bubblemaker. Chris (the instructor) was fantastic. What a great experience. My grandson wants to learn to dive now. I don't think ge could have had a better experience. Thank you Dive Friends.

    We had a fabulous experience with Dive Friends, and Rachela was an outstanding guide. We did two shore dives, and I was honestly nervous about the beach entries—I can trip on air over flat ground—but Rachela put me at ease. She took the time to show us the best and safest ways to get in and out of the water, which made a huge difference in my comfort and confidence. Beyond that, she was an excellent guide underwater, attentive, knowledgeable, and clearly focused on taking great care of us. As cruise travelers, we also really appreciated how easy the location was to find, making the logistics simple and stress-free from the start. From start to finish, the dives were smooth, well-run, and enjoyable. I wouldn’t hesitate to dive with Dive Friends again, and I highly recommend Rachela if you have the chance.

    My husband and I did our check out dives here with Peter and a trainee (I believe her name was Angelica?…I’m terrible at names). We had a great experience. My husband has a bad back and they couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating helping him with his gear so he could put it on in the water. Its been 6 months since my last dive and Angelica was so very friendly and made sure I didn’t forget anything which I very much appreciated and it made for a stress free experience. Peter brought his sage wisdom and calm that comes from decades of experience which set a good vibe for the dives. Would definitely recommend!

    My husband and I had a wonderful day diving a 2 tank boat dive with them. The whole crew was super friendly and fantastic. We had kids on our trip and one of the dive masters was showing them card magic tricks underwater. Which was awesome. Drew lead our first dive and was super friendly, professional and was helpful with ideas when I asked him his thoughts on a couple of issues I was having. It was a beautiful, relaxed, dive. Everything was done professionally and the boat is very comfortable and well kept. Definitely will recommend and we are looking forward to our next dive tomorrow!

    We had an incredible time diving with Dive Friends Bonaire on our recent trip. Two of my friends completed their Open Water certifications, while another friend and I did our Advanced, and the whole experience was absolutely top-notch. From the moment we checked in, the staff made everything smooth and enjoyable. Everyone was super friendly, funny, and welcoming. Special shoutout to Joe, who took great care of us during check-in and set the tone for the rest of our week. Our instructor, Koa, was outstanding. He’s extremely knowledgeable and, being a local, he knows every corner of the island and exactly where the best learning conditions are. Above all, he’s just an awesome guy - funny, smart, and incredibly experienced. Underwater he is calm, serious, and always making sure you feel safe and comfortable. His instructions were crystal clear, and I felt fully confident diving deeper and trying new skills with him guiding us. Couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. After our certifications, we rented gear for our own dives, and the process was super convenient. With multiple locations around the island, it was easy to pick up tanks at one shop and drop them off at another. Big plus! Koa also shared great tips on the best dive spots for our personal dives and even explained the easiest entries at each site. Those recommendations made our shore dives so much better. Overall, we had an amazing experience with Dive Friends Bonaire. If you’re thinking about diving in Bonaire - whether learning or exploring - I can’t recommend them enough! 🐠💙

    Amazingly convenient if you happen to stay in the Hamlet Oasis, but even if you don't, I highly recommend Cliff dive site for a night dive. Jack, who got us all set up and checked out for Bonaire diving, has the right attitude, great sense of humor, and boy -- the man can tell some wonderfully amusing stories. Gotta love him! Jack, 🍻 cheers to you!

    We did an Avelo training with Koa and it was both educational and super duper fun. I give the highest marks to our trainer Koa! The man has an excellent base of knowledge, positive attitude, and a quick, light-hearted sense of humor. One recommendation to Dive Friends is for the rest of the staff to learn from Koa, let the knowledge flow.

    I visited this shop on recommendation from one of my tour guides after the mask I brought with me failed. This shop is well stocked and the staff were friendly and very helpful from the moment I walked in. After I explained what I needed I was taken the mask wall display to start testing. After a few tries we found a Scuba Pro that fit perfectly. The price was very reasonable and close to what I would have paid at any online store. The location was only a few minutes walk from my hotel and I was happy not to have to go all the way into town in that heat. If you're in Bonaire and you want to upgrade from your casual gear, this is the store you need!

    We always use the drive through to get and replace tanks. Staff are always kind and have a smile. Tanks are typically good and if you get one with a leaky handle or o-ring they exchange it easily for you.

    Dive friends in general for the number and locations on Bonaire is second to none. We always choose dive friends for our cylinders. The Sand dollar location like all locations have friendly employees and it's clear to see they enjoy working to help there customers. We just returned from Bonaire and already have booked our dive resort along with dive friends for next years trip.

    We did a dive refresher and 2 dives with Hank today. Excellent instructor, dive master, and great staff and dive operation. Was so good to get back in the water with comfort and confidence. Very nice dive store also. With 7 locations in the island, it's easy to see why they are in demand!

    We had an absolutely incredible experience diving with Dive Friends Bonaire for the past week! From start to finish, the entire team made our trip easy, fun, and unforgettable. Before we even arrived, Daniel and Alyssa in reservations were super responsive and patient. When we checked in, Charlie and Luigi welcomed us with warmth and professionalism, which set the tone for the whole week. The dives themselves were beyond amazing. We did a dusk dive, two night dives, and more boat dives than I can count. The crew kept every dive fun and safe while pointing out incredible sea life—everything from turtles and eels to some of the coolest critters we’ve ever seen underwater. Special thanks to the amazing dive team: Ilse, Roan, Tessa, Andy, Luigi, Mona, Constance, Emily, Liam, and Jack. Each one brought a mix of expertise, enthusiasm, and good humor that made every dive memorable. They were patient with us when needed, encouraged us to try new things, and clearly loved what they do—it shows. Renting tanks for our own shore dives was easy and quick. These staff also gave great recommendations for our dives, as well as non-diving activities. Between the professional setup, great gear, fantastic boats, and the kind of staff who treat you like friends, it’s hard to imagine a better dive operation. We’ll be back without a doubt, and we’ll be recommending Dive Friends to anyone coming to Bonaire!

    I could not possibly have found a better dive shop. Dive Friends is a pretty large dive operation, but it didn't feel like one. We went in to several of their locations for fresh tanks, water, etc. Everyone was super nice, helpful, and friendly.

    Thank you Sebastian a.k.a. (boss) for your excellent advice and service!!! We showed up at dive friends last minute, off the celebration cruise ship, and wanted to go diving. Although everything was booked up everywhere else. Even here. Sebastian came up with a plan for us. He helped us rent a truck really quick, loaded it up with quality gear and tanks, and then put us onto his favorite spots. It was absolutely amazing!!! That dude was the best... Thank you dive friends and especially you Sebastian... We can't wait to see you again.

    Awesome dive shop! Had the pleasure of brushing up on some skills with Ari. She was super knowledgeable and a great instructor. Was able to rent equipment on a day by day basis, so only payed for the days I went diving. They kept my gear handy in a “scuba-ritto” for quick pick up. Special shout out to Jack. He was always a pleasure to work with! Highly recommend this shop!

    Wir Waren vom 17.06.bis 31.06. 25 zum tauchen auf Bonaire und die Tauchbasis am Hamlet Oasis stand uns treu zur Seite. Wir hatten natürlich viele Fragen zum selbständigen tauchen an Davinia und Jack und sie waren immer geduldig mit uns. Es waren alle lieb mit uns, aber alle Namen weiss ich nicht mehr. Von unserem Häuschen war es nur 1 min zur Basis. Die gesammte Reise gebucht bei ABC TRAVEL war so unkompliziert und Nico Ruiz und Julian so freundlich und entspannt plus die anderen Mitarbeiter. Es hat alles super geklappt und war von vorn herein alles klar. Flug weiter Flug, Auto, Zimmer obwohl wir erst in der Nacht angekommen, sogar noch noch ein Getränk bekommen in der Nachbaranlage war gegen 22 Uhr noch möglich. Habe meinen 60 Geb dort gefeiert und es war perfekt. Ich kann ABC TRAVEL und DIVE FRIENDS für deinen nächsten Tauchurlaub nur weiter empfehlen. Die Insel musst du selber erkunden.Sie ist klein und gemütlich und die Menschen sind super freundlich und entspannt, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Für einen entspannten Urlaub und eigenständiges tauchen perfekt zu empfehlen. liebes Dankeschön an dive friends und ABC Travel perfekte kombi Svenja uns Heidi

    Diving “The Cliff” is an absolute must! Jack was excellent and gave us all the info we needed to dive the site safely. He also shared info about what sea life to expect to see while diving. I highly recommend this dive shop!

    Went here for my first ever diving experience and it did not disappoint. Dive Friends Bonaire has such amazing and sweet people working there. We were helped by Ben, who went through all the instructions before going into the water. He made sure we were comfortable with going down which took some pressure off of my shoulders(yes I was very nervous for my first time diving). Before going down there is an oppurtunity to drink, use the restroom and put your belongings in a locker. Underwater Ben helped us by adjusting weights, air in the vest and kept an eye on the airmeter, making sure we would be ready. After the dive we booked a boat ride around Klein Bonaire to go snorkeling around the hotspots together with the divers that were onboard too. It was certainly an experience and I look forward to dive again with Dive Friends Bonaire on my next vacation here to the island! A huge thanks to Ben for making my first dive an unforgettable experience!

    Tuvimos una gran experiencia buceando desde el barco 3 días seguidos, alquilamos los equipos con ellos y todo estuvo perfecto. Todo el equipo fue muy bueno, muy atentos a las necesidades en todo momento, tanto en la tienda como en el barco! Destaco la atención de Luigi! Recomiendo tener tu experiencia de buceo con ellos !
