• Certified PADI Divemaster

What will you do?

As HR Manager and member of the management team you are responsible for all strategic, tactical, and operational HR matters for Dive Friends Bonaire. You help ensure that employees enjoy working for us and that we have professional HR.

• You translate the strategic goals of Dive Friends Bonaire into clear HR priorities, policies and actions that support growth, operational excellence and employee engagement.
• You actively contribute to building a professional, open feedback culture and support managers in people management, performance management and accountability.
• You ensure optimal staffing of the organization (recruitment, selection, appointment, transfer, and exit).
• You are a hands-on HR Manager who is visible on the work floor and understands the daily operational reality of a multi-location dive operation.
• You are responsible for all HR administration, including but not limited to, labor contracts, termination of employment, holiday and time back registration and take care of all communication regarding the employment for employees.
• You advise the director and management on HR matters and are a professional sparring partner for them.
• You take care of the monthly payroll administration.
• You are the manager of the Management Assistant who will be supporting you with HR- and payroll administration.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor / Master education in the field of HR
• Demonstrable experience in a similar position (minimum 3 years)
• Good written and verbal communication skills, in both Dutch and English. A third language is an advantage
• Flexible attitude & stress resistance
• Experience in a dynamic, operational environment (hospitality, retail, tourism or similar) is a strong advantage.
• You are approachable and empathetic, yet firm and consistent when needed. You are not afraid to address issues directly and help the organization grow through honest conversations.

What you'll do:

• Manage and support the three retail stores: Dushi Store, Reef Store & Arena 

• Oversee inventory management across all locations 

• Responsible for purchasing, stock accuracy, and product availability 

• Coordinate order processing, logistics, and customer service

• Improve retail processes and operational efficiency 

• Monitor trends and respond to market developments

You will be responsible for the day-to-day warehouse activities and the coordination of both local and international logistics flows. You play a key role in ensuring accurate inventory, timely deliveries, and efficient supply to all our dive locations, retail shops, and wholesale customers.

What you'll do:

• Manage daily warehouse operations and maintain an organized workspace

• Receive, check, store, and dispatch incoming and outgoing goods

• Coordinate deliveries to dive locations, retail stores, and wholesale clients

• Support international logistics, import processes, and transport planning

• Monitor stock levels and perform stock counts and cycle counts

• Ensure accurate inventory administration in DS360

• Label products and ensure they are retail-ready

• Support wholesale operations and provide operational back-up when needed

• Maintain strong collaboration with retail, wholesale, and technical teams

Who you are:

• Experienced in logistics, warehouse, or stock management (preferred)

• Accurate, structured, and detail-oriented

• Hands-on, reliable, and proactive
