We are looking for an Front Desk employee (40 hours per week) to take care of on-location operations at Dive Friends Bonaire.

What you'll do:

• Welcome customers and guests in a warm and friendly manner.

• Respond to customer inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.

• Interact with customers and guests checking in or out, picking up or dropping of tanks or planning a purchase.

• Making sure to keep our shop clean, tidy, and welcoming

• Know all essential aspects of our business operations.

• Collect payments by accepting cash, credit or prepaid payments from customers.

• Balance cash drawer by counting cash at beginning and end of work shift.

• Work collaboratively with other staff, managers, and resources.

• Fill tanks and work with compressors.

Who you are:

• Hospitality mindset

• Fluent English speaker (bonus if you speak more languages)

• Familiarity with telephone, office, and diveshop360 (our software) is a plus

• Verbal communication, customer/guest Service, sales, resolving conflict, teamwork and professionalism

• Being a certified scuba diver or having interest of becoming one

What will you do?

As our Marketing & Communications Specialist, you'll own the day-to-day marketing activities of Dive Friends Bonaire and our retail brands. You'll develop campaigns, create engaging content, coordinate external partners, manage digital channels, and continuously look for opportunities to strengthen our brands and increase revenue.

This is a hands-on role with ownership. Whether you create content yourself, collaborate with colleagues, leverage AI tools, or coordinate external specialists, you'll determine the most effective way to achieve outstanding marketing results.

 Your tasks include:

• Develop and execute marketing campaigns for our diving operation and retail brands.

• Plan and maintain the annual marketing calendar.

• Create content for social media, email marketing, blogs, and the website.

• Capture and edit photo and video content above and below water.

• Design promotional materials such as flyers, posters, banners, and trade show materials.

• Write compelling copy that reflects our tone of voice.

• Manage and grow our social media channels and engage with our community.

• Safeguard the visual identity across all brands.

• Coordinate with our advertising agency on paid advertising, website improvements, SEO, and analytics.

• Monitor marketing performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Coordinate external photographers, videographers, printers, and creative partners.

• Support company events through marketing and content creation.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum PADI Open Water certification.

• 2–3 years of experience in marketing, content creation, or digital marketing.

• Experience creating underwater photo and video content is highly preferred.

• Experience with Canva and preferably Adobe Creative Suite.

• Experience with Mailchimp or a similar email marketing platform.

• Valid driver's license.

• Fluent in spoken and written English.

• EU or US passport (required due to immigration legislation).

Do you have a passion for diving and delivering exceptional guest experiences while ensuring operational efficiency? Dive into a new challenge with Dive Friends Bonaire! We’re looking for an enthusiastic and driven Reservations and Planning Agent to join our team and help us evolve our planning and reservations processes.

What will you do?

• You will manage customer inquiries and reservations, ensuring responses within Dive Friends Bonaire's 48-hour policy while maximizing revenue through upselling. 

• You’ll develop and adjust staff schedules to balance resources effectively and adapt to changing demands. 

• Collaborating with managers and stakeholders, you’ll optimize operations and resolve scheduling or reservation challenges.

• Identify inefficiencies in current planning and reservation workflows, proposing and implementing improvements to make processes more structured, transparent, and efficient.

• Communicate schedules and updates clearly to managers and staff, ensuring everyone has the information they need to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

• Support the development of digital tools and reporting methods for reservation, planning and forecasting.

As part of this role, you will act as the point of contact for our guests at our white label diving concept at Delfins, helping to deliver a seamless and personalized experience before, during, and after their stay.

Coordinate guest communication, dive activities, and special requests.

• Support guests, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of personal service.
• Work closely with the Delfins and Dive Friends teams to create memorable diving experiences and support post-stay follow-up.

What are we looking for?

• Proven knowledge of the diving industry and PADI standards. Dive Master certification is a plus.

• Proven experience in reservations, planning or similar roles. experience in hospitality, diving, or tourism is a plus.

• A process improvement mindset. you’re not afraid to question “how it’s always been done” and introduce better ways of working.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Enabling you to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and planning/scheduling tools.

• A European or US nationality due to immigration processes we will not consider candidates with other nationalities, except if they are already living on Bonaire and have a valid work permit.
