We are looking for an Front Desk employee (40 hours per week) to take care of on-location operations at Dive Friends Bonaire.

What you'll do:

• Welcome customers and guests in a warm and friendly manner.

• Respond to customer inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.

• Interact with customers and guests checking in or out, picking up or dropping of tanks or planning a purchase.

• Making sure to keep our shop clean, tidy, and welcoming

• Know all essential aspects of our business operations.

• Collect payments by accepting cash, credit or prepaid payments from customers.

• Balance cash drawer by counting cash at beginning and end of work shift.

• Work collaboratively with other staff, managers, and resources.

• Fill tanks and work with compressors.

Who you are:

• Hospitality mindset

• Fluent English speaker (bonus if you speak more languages)

• Familiarity with telephone, office, and diveshop360 (our software) is a plus

• Verbal communication, customer/guest Service, sales, resolving conflict, teamwork and professionalism

• Being a certified scuba diver

What will you do?

As our Marketing & Communications Specialist, you'll own the day-to-day marketing activities of Dive Friends Bonaire and our retail brands. You'll develop campaigns, create engaging content, coordinate external partners, manage digital channels, and continuously look for opportunities to strengthen our brands and increase revenue.

This is a hands-on role with ownership. Whether you create content yourself, collaborate with colleagues, leverage AI tools, or coordinate external specialists, you'll determine the most effective way to achieve outstanding marketing results.

 Your tasks include:

• Develop and execute marketing campaigns for our diving operation and retail brands.

• Plan and maintain the annual marketing calendar.

• Create content for social media, email marketing, blogs, and the website.

• Capture and edit photo and video content above and below water.

• Design promotional materials such as flyers, posters, banners, and trade show materials.

• Write compelling copy that reflects our tone of voice.

• Manage and grow our social media channels and engage with our community.

• Safeguard the visual identity across all brands.

• Coordinate with our advertising agency on paid advertising, website improvements, SEO, and analytics.

• Monitor marketing performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Coordinate external photographers, videographers, printers, and creative partners.

• Support company events through marketing and content creation.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum PADI Open Water certification.

• 2–3 years of experience in marketing, content creation, or digital marketing.

• Experience creating underwater photo and video content is highly preferred.

• Experience with Canva and preferably Adobe Creative Suite.

• Experience with Mailchimp or a similar email marketing platform.

• Valid driver's license.

• Fluent in spoken and written English.

• EU or US passport (required due to immigration legislation).

As a Financial Administrative Assistant, you support the daily financial administration of Dive Friends Bonaire. You ensure that all financial processes run smoothly and that the administration is accurate, complete, and up to date. You work independently while maintaining close contact with colleagues and external partners such as customers and suppliers.

What will you do?

You are responsible for supporting the financial administration and ensuring everything is processed correctly and on time. 

Your tasks include:

• Processing incoming and outgoing invoices

• Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable

• Processing bank transactions

• Assisting with monthly financial closing activities

• Maintaining financial records and administration

• Communicating with customers and suppliers

• Filing and checking financial documents

What are we looking for?

• Completed MBO level 4 education, preferably in a financial field

• Experience in an administrative or financial position is required

• Good knowledge of Excel and administrative software systems

What will you do?

As a Retail Shop Employee, you'll be one of the first people customers meet when they walk into our stores. You'll help customers find the right products, answer questions, process sales, and keep the store organized and well-presented.

What does a typical day entail 

The day starts before opening by preparing the store and checking the cash register. Once the doors open, your focus is on helping customers and keeping the store looking its best.

Throughout the day you'll assist shoppers, restock products, receive deliveries, and work with your colleagues to ensure everything runs smoothly. At closing time, you'll help tidy the store, complete cash handling tasks, and prepare for the next business day.
